Nintendo has confirmed what we probably figured as the system launched. Some larger games will require a MicroSD card for storage in order to experience the full game. From what it seems, NBA 2K18 will be the first title that will labelled as such, that way consumers know ahead of time that expanded storage is necessary. The Nintendo Switch itself can handle MicoSD cards up to 2TB in size, with common sizes today being 64GB or 128GB.
